About Central Arkansas Entertainment

Central Arkansas Entertainment is a full-service event production company based in Little Rock, Arkansas. We design, build, and deliver complete event environments for wedding clients, corporations, nonprofits, and organizations across the region and beyond. Our work spans staging, lighting, audio/visual, design, custom fabrication, branded environments, drape, and DJ services, all executed by an in-house team from load-in to lights-out. We are known for quality production, reliable execution, and the ability to turn any venue into exactly what a client needs it to be.

About the Role

We are looking for a contract graphic designer to support CAE on a project and per-diem basis. This is a working relationship with a production company that has ongoing creative needs, and we take the quality of our visual presentation seriously.

We are hoping to find someone with experience in the wedding industry. There is a real difference between a designer who has worked weddings and one who has not. The aesthetic sensibility, the attention to detail in typography and layout, the ability to build something that feels personal and cohesive for a specific event -- those qualities tend to come from experience in this space. If your background includes invitation suites, event stationery, ceremony programs, signage packages, or day-of collateral, we would love to hear from you.

Work will include event collateral, client-facing print and digital materials, and production documents. You will work directly with CAE leadership and receive clear direction on each project.

This position may be performed remotely, dependent on qualifications and the nature of each project.

What You Will Be Working On

Event collateral including invitations, programs, signage, menus, escort cards, and day-of stationery
Stage and environmental graphics for live events
Client-facing proposals, one-pagers, and presentation decks
Print-ready files for vendor production (flatbed, large format, specialty printing)
Occasional projects with shorter turnaround windows

What We Are Looking For

Experience in the wedding or live event industry is strongly preferred
A portfolio that shows your range across event and print collateral
Solid grounding in typography, color theory, and layout as they apply to event design
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Canva, and familiarity with print-ready file prep
Ability to work within a visual direction and bring genuine creative input to individual projects
Reliable communication throughout a project
Experience in wedding design, production environments, or large-format print is a plus

Logistics

Contract / per-diem engagement, project-based or agreed hourly rate
Flexible schedule with defined project deadlines
Volume varies; reliable availability is expected when projects are active
