Graphic Designer - Photo Editor

Wagner Portrait Group is looking for a detail-oriented Graphic Designer - Photo Editor to join our growing Graphics team in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

This is not a traditional advertising or marketing graphic design position.

Instead, you'll use design skills to enhance portraits, prepare images for print, support school projects, and communicate directly with schools and customers to ensure every project is completed accurately and on time. What You'll Do

Retouch and enhance portrait images, including color correction, cropping, background adjustments, flyaway hair removal, blemish removal, eye swaps, and other image edits.
Prepare artwork and files for print production.
Create and update templated graphic projects for schools.
Communicate professionally with schools and customers through email regarding graphic design projects and revisions.
Prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines during busy production seasons.
Maintain accurate project notes and documentation.
Work closely with our Photography, Customer Service, Production, Marketing, and Yearbook teams.
Troubleshoot image and project issues while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

What We're Looking For

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
Experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Bridge preferred.
Excellent written communication skills with a professional email presence.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities as needed.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and Teams.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Lightroom, Airtable is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's degree in Graphic Design, a Graphic Design certificate, or equivalent education is preferred, but not required.
Strong Adobe Photoshop skills with an eye for detail and quality.
Experience with photo retouching and image editing is preferred.
A portfolio or examples of your work will be requested.
Must successfully pass a background check.

Schedule

Full-time
Monday through Friday
8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m (some 8-4:30pm during certain seasons)
Additional hours may occasionally be required during peak production seasons.
This is an in-office position located in Creve Coeur, Missouri.
