Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:We are seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our team in the print industry (Cannabis industry). The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with walk-in clients and creating designs that meet customer preferences, even if they differ from personal taste. This role requires someone who thrives in a very fast-paced environment and can manage multiple jobs simultaneously.This designer needs to be an expert at designing and working with die lines and cut lines.Key Responsibilities:Create visually appealing designs that satisfy customer requirements, even if they differ from personal aesthetic preferences.Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.Understand and apply principles of cutlines and dielines in design projects.Work directly with walk-in clients from various industries, including cannabis, to understand their design needs and preferences.Ensure that colors and other design elements are optimized for print production.Design packaging that is both functional and visually appealing.Collaborate with the print production team to ensure designs are correctly executed.Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all design work.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in print and packaging design.Requirements:Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the print industry.Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including packaging design.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).Excellent understanding of print design principles, including cutlines, dielines, and color management.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at once.Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients from different industries, including cannabis.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Flexibility and openness to creating designs that may differ from personal aesthetic preferences.Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.Share the same core values as our team: honesty, transparency, great mood and work ethics, and professionalism.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with additional design software and tools.Knowledge of printing processes and materials.Familiarity with current design trends and techniques.Benefits:Opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative environmentProfessional development and growth opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive team culture
