Graphic Designer & Print Production Coordinator (Full-Time)
Location: Broken Arrow, OK (On-site)

Reports To: Executive Director

Position Overview
Capps Ministries is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer & Print Production Coordinator to support publishing and print production across the ministry.

This role is responsible for preparing, finalizing, and coordinating files for print, working with both internal teams and external designers to ensure all materials are produced accurately and on time. The position also supports light design and layout tasks as needed.

This is a production-focused role requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and vendor relationships efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities
1) Print Production & File Finalization (Primary Focus)

Prepare and finalize files for print (bleeds, margins, color settings, exports)
Receive files from internal and external designers and ensure they meet print specifications
Make technical adjustments to files as needed for production
Ensure accuracy and consistency before files are sent to print

2) Print Coordination & Vendor Management

Submit files to print vendors and confirm specifications
Communicate with printers to resolve file or production issues
Track print jobs and ensure timelines are met
Coordinate with internal staff to gather materials and approvals
Assist with local/in-house printing needs

3) External Designer Coordination

Coordinate with external designers including:
Book cover designers
Typographers
Freelance layout/design support
Gather files, communicate revisions, and ensure deliverables are complete
Prepare externally created files for final production

4) Layout & InDesign Support

Assist with layout and formatting for:
Study notes
Booklets
Supporting print materials
Perform basic InDesign setup and formatting tasks as needed
Support publishing team with file updates and adjustments

5) Graphic Design Support

Create aesthetically pleasing graphics for:
Email
Social media
Print inserts or promotions
Resize and adapt existing designs for different formats

6) File & Production Management

Maintain organized file systems and version control
Ensure files are stored, labeled, and accessible
Deliver correct file formats for print and digital use

7) Cross-Team Coordination

Work closely with:
Publishing
Communications
External designers and vendors
Execute tasks based on direction and deadlines
Support production needs across departments

Qualifications
Required:

2+ years graphic design or production experience
Strong proficiency in:
Adobe InDesign (required)
Photoshop
Illustrator
Understanding of print production processes
Experience preparing files for print
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred:

Experience working with printers and print vendors
Familiarity coordinating with external designers or freelancers
Basic layout and typesetting experience
Familiarity with Canva or quick-turn tools

Ministry Responsibilities

Attend weekly Capps Chapel (Mondays at 11:00 AM CT)
Answer phones and talk to partners during busy TV Broadcast times
Work in alignment with ministry values and mission
Interact with team members and vendors with professionalism and integrity

Salary Range
$40,000 – $55,000 annually (based on experience)
