Graphic Designer - Print Shop

The Denver Pepsi Print Shop is seeking a Graphic Designer that will create point of sale designs that are customized for our retail and foodservice environment. Reporting into the Marketing Asst Supervisor for our Frontier Print Shops, this position will be accountable for step-changing the way we communicate our brands in-store. Responsibilities • Develop customized Marketing POS for our customers and our field to bring our brands to life in-store • Communicate directly with sales representatives for approval of art • Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Shopper Marketing team to ensure our designs line up with key priorities for our brands and our West Division • Collaborate with Production Team and/or Foodservice Designer to ensure timely delivery of tools • Occasional creation of digital advertisements • Troubleshoot mechanical issues on all equipment • Conducts finish work, including, cutting, laminating, and binding • Assembles parcels and prepares goods for shipping, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels • Track waste, spoilage, usage and inventory, and service credits • Additional functions incidental to printing and administrative activities Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field strongly preferred; would consider 5 years of experience as a designer in a print shop with portfolio • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to meet tight deadlines • Excellent layout design skills • Excellent written/verbal communication skills • Strong Photoshop/Illustrator skills (other Adobe Creative Suite program knowledge is a plus) • Ability to stand during entire shift; ability to move, carry, and lift 60 lbs; ability to bend/twist at waist and knees on a consistent basis • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure • Ability to work with minimal supervision • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States EEO Statement
