A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer

MUST be proficient in Adobe Illustrator. Create computer-generated full-color graphics and vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut, and appliedComplete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to mediaDetermine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select the style and size of the type, and arrange the layout based on available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.Produce signage, mount materials, cut materials, use a laminator during production, and handle material and substrate.Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurateMaintain customer logo library; convert graphic files

Ideal Qualifications For FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer

2-3 years of graphic design experienceHigh School diploma or equivalentProficient in Adobe Illustrator a mustAbility to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomouslyDetermine the best output method based on the customer’s needsSit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)Ability to work under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality workAbility to produce products such as foam board signs, coro yard signs, print decals, and cut them out; make large print signs; produce banners; ADA signage; these are some of the job responsibilities of this position.We do have on-the-job training.
