Graphic Designer / Production Manager

We are looking for a graphic designer to create graphics for print media and signs. What is the role of a graphic designer? Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message in a very short amount of time. Responsibilities • Meet with customers to determine design elements and requirements • Schedule projects and send to production • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using Adobe Illustrator or Gerber Omega software • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic • Work with production artists and contractors to produce final design that works • Test graphics across various media • Amend designs after feedback • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand Skills • Proven graphic designing experience specifically in Adobe Illustrator and preferred knowledge of Gerber Omega • Ability to work at a fast pace and multitask • Ability to work with others and in a team environment • A keen eye for aesthetics and details • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines • Must be punctual and reliable • Must speak English language clearly to communicate with customers, having knowledge of other languages is a plus • Knowledge and experience in a sign shop helpful
