Graphic Designer / Production Artist

* Adhere to client's Brand Guidelines when applicable and ensure brand standards are met on all materials produced * Create designs based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts, as well as knowledge of print production and workflow * Understand the production process in the shop, and write estimates and work orders for client jobs. * Work on multiple projects at once, using a detail-oriented approach to organize workflow effciently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction * Discuss printing projects with clients and associates over the phone and in person This position is a mix of 40 to 50 percent production art (creative support), 20 to 30 percent creating original designs, and 20 to 30 percent office assistance, including estimates and work orders (training for writing estimates and work orders will be provided). Candidates who show promise and good time management skills will be rewarded with more creative design projects. MUST have recent experience working in a printing company Must take constructive criticism well and follow directions without taking things personally * Time Management - ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule in a sometimes hectic environment * Strong writing and organizational skills * Strong layout skills and an experienced eye for color
