Graphic Designer / Production Aid

Seeking a new member of our team!

We are small Sign and Graphics company located in Lockland OH in need of a Graphic Designer / Admin / Production aid

Due to our small scale, this role would be very different from day to day as our work load shifts and changes. Flexibility in your duties is EXTREMELY important, however it can make for a dynamic work environment with lots of variety.

Your duties within this role would be as follows...

Generating design proofs for customers

Putting together designs as needed to fulfill signage orders. Limited experience in either adobe illustrator or photoshop would be needed. Corresponding with customers to taylor the designs to their needs and get the job lined up for production!

Assisting with day-to-day communication with customers

Sending and receiving emails, generating quotes, and facilitating the picking up of orders. Assisting in communication with customers about the scope/details of their potential order.

General running of errands

We occasionally need orders delivered, or supplies picked up from vendors. You would be using a company vehicle for these tasks.

Facilitating pickup/dropoff of customer vehicles for graphics application

Managing the picking up/dropping off of keys and vehicles, receiving payment if needed.

General assistance around the shop with prep and production of goods

Running the printers/equipment as needed, assisting with the preparation of goods for install or for customer pickup. This could look like anything form printing and cutting stickers, to helping make some yard signs, to stitching up a banner on the sewing machine (no experience required in this area).

Permit filing and communication with Building Departments

No experience required here either however limited graphic design program experience is preferred.

Submission of signage plans as well as tracking jobs and following up with building departments as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
