Graphic Designer | Production Design Specialist

Panta Rhei Productions Lafayette, Louisiana

Salaried position | Pay based on experience

Panta Rhei Productions is a growing design and fabrication studio in Lafayette, Louisiana. We create signage, architectural graphics, vehicle graphics, vinyl, dimensional displays, environmental branding, trade show pieces, promotional builds, and custom fabrication projects for businesses throughout Acadiana.

We’re looking for a graphic designer who knows how to design for the real world, not just the screen.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience creating files for vinyl, acrylic, wood, cut production, dimensional graphics, and vehicle wraps. You should understand that a beautiful layout still has to be built, cut, installed, read from a distance, survive real materials, and not make production quietly hate you.

We’re still a startup, but we’re growing quickly. We’re hiring with the long game in mind and hope this person can become a key creative and production player as the company grows.

Required experience

Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite experience are mandatory.
Experience in some combination of the following is strongly preferred:
Signage design
Vinyl graphics
Acrylic signage or displays
Wood-based design or fabricated elements
Cut file setup
Vehicle graphics or wrap design
Dimensional signage
Production-ready file preparation
Large-format print design
3D or fabrication-focused graphic design

You do not have to know every single piece of equipment or process on day one, because we are not monsters with a keyboard. But you do need relevant experience and the ability to understand how design turns into something physical.

What you’ll be doing

Designing signage, vinyl graphics, vehicle graphics, banners, displays, and environmental branding
Preparing clean production files for cutting, printing, routing, laser work, and fabrication
Creating client proofs and realistic mockups
Setting up files with correct scale, bleeds, cut paths, layers, spacing, and material needs
Working with measurements, templates, site photos, brand assets, and production requirements
Collaborating with sales, estimating, production, and installation
Helping organize and improve our design-to-production workflow
Learning new materials, methods, and shop processes as we grow
Eventually helping train future designers or production support staff

The right fit

You are:

Strong in Illustrator and comfortable in Adobe Creative Suite
Experienced with production-minded design
Detail-oriented without becoming impossible to work with, a historic challenge for creative people everywhere
Comfortable asking questions before a mistake becomes expensive
Organized with files, layers, naming, measurements, and deadlines
Able to collaborate with sales, production, and leadership
Willing to learn how our shop builds things
Self-starting without needing someone to hover over your desk like a low-budget ghost
Clear in communication
Honest about what you know and what you still need to learn
Interested in growing with a company instead of just clocking in and disappearing

This is a creative role, but it is also a practical one. We need someone who can make good design decisions and understand how those decisions affect materials, labor, installation, and the final result.

About Panta Rhei

Panta Rhei is design-focused, detail-driven, and allergic to cutting corners. We care about clean work, smart systems, and creative solutions that make sense for the client.

We want to push what signage, graphics, displays, and branded environments can look like in Acadiana while still delivering the things local businesses actually need.

We’re looking for someone who wants to help build something with us.

Compensation

This is a salaried position with pay based on experience.

We are still in the startup phase, but our intention is for compensation, benefits, and opportunity to grow as the company grows and as this role becomes more central to our creative and production process.

To apply

Please send your resume and portfolio.

Relevant examples may include signage, vinyl graphics, vehicle graphics, wraps, cut files, acrylic work, wood/fabrication design, dimensional graphics, large-format print, mockups, or production-ready files.

A short note about your background is welcome. No need to submit your life story in twelve dramatic chapters. A solid portfolio will do more talking than a paragraph ever could.
