Graphic Designer / Production & Sales Specialist

We are looking for someone who likes a fast paced environment and loves to problem solve. We like someone who can think quick on their feet, is tech savoy, and can maintain our graphic productions of any graphic material, digital or physical! Versatile, motivated Graphic Designer / Production & Sales Specialist who can take a project from the initial design ideas and develop it into a print ready file.

This is not strictly a desk-based graphic design position. We're looking for someone who is creative, comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment, understands how designs translate into real-world production, and is confident communicating with customers and helping turn inquiries into sales.

THIS IS NOT A GRAPHIC/WEB DESIGN JOB; this is a hands-on, heavy production role.

Job context:

The ideal candidate understands that a great-looking design also needs to be production-ready, profitable, and delivered on time.

Graphic Design:

Create professional designs for vehicle graphics, wraps, signage, banners, decals, window graphics, promotional materials, and other customer projects.
Prepare customer concepts, proofs, revisions, and final production-ready artwork.
Work with customer logos, branding, colors, photos, and other supplied artwork.
Properly size, scale, organize, and prepare files for print and production.
Maintain organized customer and production files.
Work efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail and design quality.

Production:

Prepare artwork and files for printing, cutting, laminating, and finishing.
Understand materials such as vinyl, laminate, banner material, window film, and other graphics/signage products.
Experience with vinyl cutting/ Plotter is strongly preferred.
Weed, mask, trim, laminate, and finish graphics as needed.
Perform quality-control checks before projects move to installation or customer pickup.
Help keep production organized and projects moving through the shop on schedule.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.

Customer Service & Sales:

Greet and assist walk-in, phone, email, and online customers.
Listen to customers, understand what they are trying to accomplish, and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
Help customers select options, materials, designs, and packages.
Prepare estimates and quotes and follow up with potential customers.
Upsell or cross-sell additional services when they genuinely benefit the customer's project.
Communicate professionally regarding artwork approvals, pricing, deposits, scheduling, and project status.
Help turn leads and inquiries into booked jobs while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Build relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation
High attention to detail
Can produce in a timely manner
Team environment
Tech-savvy - you will need to be able to use software programs
Adobe
Great communication skills
Experience in graphic design, preferably in a sign, wrap, print, automotive graphics, or similar production environment.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with other relevant design or RIP software is a plus.
Understanding of vector artwork, raster images, resolution, color, bleeds, cut paths, and print-production requirements.
Experience with wide-format printing, vinyl cutting, laminating, or sign/graphics production is strongly preferred.
Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable speaking with customers and discussing pricing and project options.
Sales experience is a plus.
Able to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team get projects completed.
Dependable, professional, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
