Graphic Designer – Production Design

We are a bustling hive of activity with signs and displays being created right here in Meridian, Idaho and shipped all over the country and even the world. This opportunity could be a great fit for someone who has worked in graphics and knows graphic application software, but is not a fine artist. Also, a graphic designer with a bit of experience would love this role. We are looking for someone who is quick, has an eye for what looks good, and pays close attention to the details. You can take a little look at who we are here: https://www.woodlandmanufacturing.com/articles/news/company-activities/ And here: https://www.woodlandmanufacturing.com/articles/news/custom-sign-makers/ Candidates must possess the following attributes: • Attention to detail • Experience with and knowledge of graphic design programs including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop • Have an eye for design and what looks good • Effectively work in a fast-paced production environment • Ability to take an idea from initial concept to production-ready art • Can receive feedback and make changes to designs • Provide examples of graphics work Helpful attributes: • A background in signage, construction, or traditional by-hand design techniques • Knowledge of 3D rendering software • Knowledge of CorelDraw Duties and Responsibilities include: • Create designs according to client and sales team requests • Provide visuals of custom orders with proofs, art layouts and specification sheets • Maintain quality and consistency of design according to guidance from team lead • Provide designs to sales team on time to help them sell jobs and grow revenue • Produce original artwork for online direct-to-consumer and retail sales • Design custom products that are viable in production and meet the client’s needs • Meet requirements of architectural specifics and accurately render construction of signage • Make marketing assets as needed If you are interested, please email your resume to nick@advancedsign.com or call 208-839-6172 for more information.
