Graphic Designer & Social Media Coordinator

$25- $35/hr | Full-time | On-site | Sacramento

Are you a creative, driven designer with a passion for food and hospitality? Zocalo is looking for a Graphic Designer & Social Media Coordinator to own our visual identity and bring our brand to life, from polished print materials to scroll-stopping social content. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can design a beautiful menu and dream up an Instagram trend that feels authentic to us.

Responsibility:

Design menus, flyers, posters, and branded collateral for both print and digital use
Create graphics and visuals for email campaigns and the website to round out the full digital presence
Own and evolve Zocalo's visual identity across all channels digital, print, packaging, and in-house displays
Execute Instagram and TikTok campaigns that feel authentic to Zocalo, tapping into trends in a way that's genuine, coordinated, and produce Reels, short-form video, and behind-the-scenes content from planning the shot list to final edit
Identify and collaborate with local influencers whose audience aligns with our brand, coordinating partnerships, visits, and co-created content

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or related field preferred
Portfolio required, show us your design work and social content
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Canva
Strong grasp of design principles, typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling
Experience shooting and editing short-form video content (Reels, TikToks), comfortable on both sides of the camera
Experience in food, hospitality, or lifestyle branding preferred
Able to manage multiple projects independently from concept to delivery, with strong attention to deadlines

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
