Graphic Designer - Temporary

The Public Health Graphic Designer works in a fast-paced environment to design marketing/promotional pieces as part of the execution of communications campaigns to reach ACHD target audiences. Examples of Duties for Success • Supports the ongoing design of marketing/promotional pieces that are culturally relevant and responsive to communities within Adams County. Qualifications For Success • Ability to perform communication and marketing duties with a high level of professionalism, flexibility, discretion, diplomacy, tact, and confidentiality • Ability to maintain flexibility and work with frequent interruptions and multiple changing priorities • Ability to meet deadlines, including during public health emergency situations • Knowledge of desktop publishing and creative design software • Familiar with website design and best practices • Computer Skills: Advanced skills in desktop publishing software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign • Skill in performing complex digital color correction • Skill in designing layouts, ads, reports, and marketing pieces. • Duration - Up to 12 months • Weekly Hours - 29 or less hours • Break in Service Requirement - 13 weeks I understand and agree that only information provided at the time of my application will be used to determine if I meet the minimum requirements for this position.
