Graphic Designer -to-Perm at Monad Foundation

We believe that the Monad blockchain–the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1–will help decentralized apps eat the world.The Role The Monad Foundation is seeking a Graphic Designer to elevate and systematize the Monad brand across our L1 blockchain ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with the Design, Content, and Ecosystem teams to ensure that all visual work aligns with Monad’s creative direction and design standards. This role requires a designer who combines creative problem‑solving with structured, systems‑level thinking — someone who can move fluidly between individual execution and scalable design systems.What You’ll DoBuild, evolve, and maintain brand systems (templates, guidelines, components, iconography) adopted across products and teams.Translate brief/Figma handoffs into production‑ready assets with clean typography, layout precision, and file hygiene.Design with motion in mind, creating layered style frames and files that anticipate movement for seamless animation handoff.With consistency across touchpoint and breakpoints, ship multi‑format campaigns: web, social, email, event collateral.Define and maintain sub‑brand frameworks for ecosystem initiatives.Create partner enablement kits (tooling, usage rules, asset specs) to scale brand quality in the ecosystem.Collaborate tightly with Design, Ecosystem, and Media on narrative, visual hierarchy, and system‑level consistency.Establish clear pipelines: briefs, milestones, review/handoff checklists, export standards; reduce cycle time and rework.Proactively identify brand/UI debt; propose solutions and lead refactors without heavy hand‑holding.Ensure accessibility by default (color contrast, legibility, reduced‑motion fallbacks) and pass audits for public surfaces.Track adoption and performance of assets; iterate based on feedback and measurable outcomes.Who You Are3–5+ years in brand/graphic design, with a portfolio spanning campaigns, events, merch, web/UI, and system thinking.Mastery of Figma and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop; confident with exports, color management, and production specs.Strong typographic craft, composition, hierarchy, and consistent spacing/grid discipline.Motion literacy with performance‑friendly techniques and restraint.Operational rigor: time management, stakeholder coordination, crisp communication, and thoughtful rationale.Self‑directed, ownership‑oriented, and outcome‑driven in a high‑throughput environments.Nice to HaveMotion: After Effects, Jitter, Rive, Lottie, Unicorn Studio; Blender/Spline for lightweight 3DWeb: Webflow/Framer or front‑end literacy to smooth design‑to‑dev collaboration and handoffWeb3 or developer‑focused brand experience; agency or startup backgroundExperience with event/experiential design and scalable production workflowsHow You WorkQuality bar: You sweat details—type scale, spacing, motion timing, focus/hover states, empty/loading/error variants.Systems thinking: Prefer reusable patterns over one‑offs; advocate for consistency at scale.Pragmatic craft: Balance elegance with delivery; choose approaches that optimize for user clarity and maintainability.Autonomy: Plan, communicate, and execute without constant guidance; ** escalate * * only when necessary.Collaboration: Work tightly with design/engineering, welcome feedback, and provide constructive critique with clear reasoning.Why Work with UsChallenging problems.
