EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

As a Graphic Designer for the Commission’s Bureau of Marketing & Strategic Communications, you will create clear and engaging visual materials to help our agency reach people in clear and meaningful ways. Our team will rely on you to create appealing designs and participate in marketing initiatives and events. Your duties in this role will include: Graphic Design Processes: Design graphics and manage uploading process of visual project materials for marketing, outreach, web content, social media, and other agency needsBrand Strategy Support: Participate in development and strategic planning for agency marketing initiativesDesign Project Management: Work with multiple teams on a wide range design projects; encourage and assist staff in branding public communication materialsCommunity Engagement: Assist with marketing initiatives and events that explain Commission programs and generate support and interestQuality and Accuracy: Proofread, check content for accuracy, and ensure all graphics align with agency guidelines and mission goalsDesign Innovation: Stay current on design trends and tools to ensure agency outreach continues to connect with new and existing audiencesInterested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 45-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Telework is not permitted during the initial six-month probationary period; eligibility may be granted upon its successful completion. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
