Graphic Designer/Illustrator, Kids at PragerU Los Angeles, CA

The Graphic Designer / Illustrator, Kids role at PragerU is a highly creative, detail-oriented position. Duties and Responsibilities: Illustrate and design graphics for a wide variety of content, from video to print Provide a variety of illustration styles with the ability to match styles as needed Create book designs that integrate engaging typography, layout, and graphic elements Create storyboards and mood boards to visualize ideas Leverage AI image software to create art assets Contribute visual storytelling ideas to each project Handle many projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Read and understand creative direction Prepare and deliver organized files, specs, and assets for internal and external teams Conform to standardized workflow and best practices Successful Candidates Will Possess : 2–5+ years of professional illustration and graphic design experience, preferably with children's content A strong illustration and graphic design portfolio Versatility in illustration styles Examples of page layout and creative typography Strong design interplay between text and artwork Experience with visual storytelling for K-12 age range Fluency with Adobe CC suite of products, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Fluency with AI image generation, including Gemini, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly Knowledge of different visual styles, their strengths and drawbacks.
