Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist

• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action. • Works with content owners to create new forms and maintain existing forms, documents and templates used internally and externally • Creates and designs print and digital ads, signage, forms, flyers, websites, social media, apps, marketing and sales materials, templates, etc., and coordinates the internal review process and final production in a timely manner • Understands technical requirements of designing various forms of production including but not limited to print, web and social media • Works with vendors for timely and accurate completion of print and other types of projects • Assists with the creation and maintenance of internal employee documents, materials and communications, including but not limited to employee badges and other materials • Photographs and lightly edits employee photos • Photographs and edits as required for marketing, advertising, sales and communications projects; ensures appropriate releases are executed, organized and filed appropriately • Works collaboratively and independently on tasks and projects, as appropriate • Assists with marketing events, sponsorships, community events and Employee Relations Committee Events and provides creative design work and other assistance as needed • Regular and predictable attendance • Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition and ensures safe operating conditions within area of responsibility Knowledge of web design principles and experience with HTML/CSS is a plus. Qualifications • E-commerce experience, social media management, photography/videography and graphic design experience. • Associates degree or equivalent work history in graphic design, marketing, advertising, business management or related field • Three to five years’ experience in marketing or related function • History of community involvement • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, InDesign, DreamWeaver and Illustrator) • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, SharePoint, Planner, Teams, Outlook and OneNote)
