The graphic designer/print specialist is a well-rounded individual with a solid knowledge and understanding of graphic design, digital printing, and finishing techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s or associate degree in visual communication, graphic design, or a related field, have at least 5 years of experience in graphic design and in the print industry, and is skilled in software design programs including the Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) for both Mac and PC. • Having excellent typesetting skills for print and digital media, including use of design principles such as typography, visual storytelling, color palettes, and variable data. • Effectively apply knowledge of printing concepts such as color management, paper considerations, file formatting, and output settings. • Skilled in operation and maintenance of digital press, multi-function printers and a variety of binding and finishing equipment.
