Graphic Designer/Social Media Coordinator

Grade 9.Position PurposeTo support WFCU’s marketing and brand strategy through the creation and management of visual content and digital communications. This position is responsible for graphic design, social media content, visual branding, and assisting in executing marketing campaigns across various platforms to engage members and enhance brand recognition.Reporting RelationshipsThis position reports to the Vice President of MarketingEssential Functions and AccountabilitiesResponsible for executing marketing and visual communications initiatives for the Credit Union. Duties may include:· Design branded visual content for digital and print including flyers, infographics, signage, ads, presentations, email campaigns, and more.· Develop, plan, create, schedule, and manage content across WFCU social media platforms · Support the design and implementation of marketing campaigns and special promotions; track engagement and report performance.· Collaborate with internal departments to create content that aligns with organizational goals and messaging.· Maintain consistency in tone, imagery, and voice across all external-facing materials and platforms.· Assist in the planning and coverage of events, including social media content creation and occasional after-hours attendance.· Apply color theory and color management techniques to ensure brand consistency in all visual content· Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner· Work with VP of Marketing to stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to keep the brand ahead of the curve· Manage basic website updates and ensure visual consistency across digital channels.· Assist with market research and the creation of communication strategies to increase awareness and engagement.· Participate in Credit Union culture initiatives, including internal communications and employee engagement content.Major duties and responsibilities· Support all marketing, advertising, and brand initiatives for the Credit Union.· Create original designs and branded content while upholding the organization’s visual identity.· Maintain an organized archive of assets, templates, and media files.· Assist in planning and executing member-focused campaigns and community events.· Monitor trends in digital marketing, social media, and design to bring fresh ideas to the team.· Work independently to manage timelines, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.· Participate in cross-functional meetings and assist departments with design and communication needs.· Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.aphic Designer/Social Media CoordinatorWFH Hybrid Eligible To support WFCU’s marketing and brand strategy through the creation and management of visual content and digital communications. • Apply color theory and color management techniques to ensure brand consistency in all visual content • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner • Work with VP of Marketing to stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to keep the brand ahead of the curve • Manage basic website updates and ensure visual consistency across digital channels.
