Job Summary A Graphic Design/Artist is responsible for creating visual content to communicate ideas and messages. Key Responsibilities: • Develop concepts and designs by gathering information and materials • Illustrate concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts • Prepare finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors • Mark and paste up finished copy and art to create final layouts • Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
