Graphic / Digital Designer

Project overviewOur client, an independent financial advisory firm, is currently seeking a well rounded Freelance Designer with print and digital experience to join their team. As a freelancer, this role will be mostly remote working about 20hrs/week for 2-3 months to start (ideally occasional onsite meetings in NYC to interact with the team). There is potential to extend based on performance and business need. Ideal candidates will be local to NYC as if it's a strong fit and this extends or expands, the role would move to a hybrid onsite schedule.

ResponsibilitiesJoin the team to support a growing workload across design for marketing initiatives across digital and printCreate and adapt marketing materials across digital channels including web and social (ads, banners, posts, animations etc)Using brand guidelines and some existing templates, help create and design assets for sales enablement (ppt presentations as needed), marketing campaigns, and social contentAs needed at times might also help support event materials such as digital invites, agendas, and occasional print bannersWork within brand guidelines and templates, while contributing to ongoing brand evolutionCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders and senior leadership on both day-to-day and bespoke design needs Requirements:Ideally will have design experience within the financial services industry or corporate cultureStrong portfolio showcasing digital design, marketing collateral, and social assetsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Ability to work within brand guidelines and templates, while helping evolve as neededDetail-oriented with an eye for layout, typography, and brand consistencyExcellent communication and time management skillsProactive, resourceful and flexible to changing needs and priorities In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
