Graphic Pre-Press

Imprimus Labels & Packaging is a growing label and packaging manufacturer specializing in high-quality pressure-sensitive labels, flexible packaging, and shrink-sleeve products. We serve customers in the cosmetics, personal care, beverage, food, and dietary supplement industries. Receive and pre-flight customer artwork files for label production.Review files for trapping, overprinting, resolution, bleeds, barcodes, and color accuracy.Convert files to CMYK and apply color corrections as needed.Prepare files for direct-to-plate output.Generate and review digital proofs for accuracy.Ensure customer approval is received before releasing the plate.Compare the final files with the job tickets and specifications.Archive completed jobs for future reference.Communicate with Customer Service and internal teams to resolve file issues.Maintain documentation and job records.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and workflow.Stay current with pre-press technology, software, and printing standards. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts, Printing, or related field, or equivalent experience.2–5 years of pre-press experience in a label, packaging, or printing environment preferred. Experience with flexographic or digital label printing workflows.Proficient with Mac-based design systems.Strong understanding of color management, trapping, imposition, and print tolerances.Close attention to detail and quality.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to read job tickets and production specifications.Basic math skills and the ability to use measurement tools.Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting.Must have close vision, color vision, and the ability to focus for detailed work.
