Graphic Production Artist

Duration: 6-12 months

Rate: $29.80/hr

Location: Easton, PA

Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote

The Tech Artist I position is responsible for production art file creation for all retail jerseys and name and number products. Artist must ensure that all guidelines are met and accurate based on tier level, garment style and embellishment techniques. He/she will collaborate with factory production partners to confirm art files are correct for efficient workflow and troubleshoot challenges that surface. Adobe Illustrator skills are necessary to ensure design integrity and maintain product quality. .GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIE

SReceives art assets from league and outside partners then modifies to meet production specsBuilds detail specific template attributes necessary for replication (i.e. graphic sizing, position and layout, color)Maintains design templates and processes to meet production goalsSends out comps for design and merchandising concept approvalCreates collateral art files for marketing and sales teamPartners with product development and merchandise teams to ensure garments are ready for seasonal launchesWorks closely with on site and overseas operations team to guarantee production flows consistently and efficientlyMeets production quality and output standardsEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

SAssociate degree in Arts or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience; 2+ years of experience in retail or wholesale a plusGENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIE

SMust have beginner to intermediate level experience with Adobe IllustratorFunctional computer skills and familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalFamiliarity with Pantone Matching SystemUnderstanding of fonts, typefaces, and ability to cross-reference, match, and replicate; graphic and font replication experience needed to maintain aesthetic for licensed business groupsDemonstrated apparel embellishment knowledgeAbility to thrive and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWorks well collaboratively with a team as well as independentlySports fan a plusHybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote; must have flexibility to be on-call and work extended hours (overtime), nights, and weekends to support business needs on occasio
