About You: You are a creative and meticulous individual with a passion for visual design and public service. The Traffic Engineering Group at the City of Raleigh is dedicated to creating a safe, efficient, and accessible transportation network for all residents and visitors. • Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled technical tasks related to the fabrication, design, maintenance, and repair of traffic and transportation signage. Performs other related duties as assigned, in support of departmental goals and objectives • Designs, fabricates, and repairs traffic and roadway signage using software such as FlexiSIGN, Adobe Creative Suite, and CorelDRAW • Operates and maintains large-format printing equipment, including Roland and Mimaki printers, plotters, and related sign-making tools • Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes daily work orders to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met • Perform additional duties as required in support of departmental operations and public safety Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED and two years of related experience
