What You'll Do:

The Graphic & Video Design Specialist is responsible for creating, enhancing and protecting the graphic presentation of a variety of traditional and digital branded communication and marketing materials. This position will work closely with the creative director, design team and other key members of the Communication and Marketing departments to develop materials that strengthen brand awareness that elevate NPT as a thought leader. This position requires strong video editing and animation skills along with traditional graphic design principles and applications. The role is ideal for someone who can bring ideas to life across digital, print, social media, and motion graphics platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong visual design fundamentals with storytelling through video and animation.

Salary Range is $70,000 - $75,000 plus 9.6% annual discretionary bonus. This is a hybid work schedule, working onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design compelling visual assets for digital, print, social media, presentations, newsletters and email campaigns, and web platformsCreate and edit engaging video content for marketing, branding, events, and social mediaDevelop motion graphics, animated content, and visual effects for campaigns and promotional materialsCollaborate with marketing, communications, and creative teams to execute brand-aligned campaignsAssist with concept development, storyboarding, and video direction for multimedia projectsOptimize graphics and videos for various platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, websites, and digital adsParticipate in planning, developing concepts and designs, maintaining brand standards, and obtaining approvals from key stakeholders of final productRegularly audit existing material for outdated branding and/or content, and apply thorough project documentation and organization of all creative filesDevelop new interactive infographics, presentations and reports that showcase NPT’s innovate technologies and thought leadership

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Animation, or equivalent experienceStrong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, video editing, and complex animation skills3+ years of relevant experienceExpertise with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Xd, After Effects, Premiere ProExpertise creating 2D animation and GIF creationExperience with Microsoft: Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience with motion graphics, typography, layout design, and visual storytellingKnowledge of social media content formats and digital marketing best practicesStrong attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skillsSelf-driven, personable and willing to expand on current knowledge baseWillingness to take direction and accept supervisionAbility to work well independently and within a team environment

Preferred Skills

Experience with Xd, Figma, or similar design platformsStrong photography and videography skillsFamiliarity with HTML/CSS or web design principlesExperience creating content for nonprofit and financial service environments
