Graphics Design Assistant

The South Carolina State Museum is seeking a highly motivated, creative, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Graphic Design Assistant. The SCSM is the largest museum in South Carolina and the only institution in the United States to feature four f loors of multi-disciplinary exhibition galleries, a full dome planetarium, a 4D theater and an observatory. This part-time position reports to the Director of Communications & Marketing and the Graphic Design Manager and plays an essential role in producing engaging, high-quality graphic design materials ranging from exhibition labels and signage to digital graphics and branding elements. The ideal candidate is able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable balancing hands-on production tasks with creative design work. • Experience working with the general public is a plus.
