Summary: The primary responsibility of the Graphic Designer is to create visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the SPBC brand / message to our target audience. Primary Duties: • Design and produce quality graphics for church bulletins, newsletters, social media, website, etc., maintaining a consistent brand identity. • Design and deliver “just in time” training sessions to prepare staff and/or volunteers to develop quality visuals in support of ministry and key messages • Provide input to the Content Development Manager to determine a feasible strategy for creating and expanding the team of volunteer graphic artists / designers • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into subsequent designs • Work closely with other members of the team to ensure consistency and quality across all creative projects • Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to represent Saint Paul’s in a professional manner via visual art • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills • Effective working independently and/or as part of a team • Demonstrated diligence in meeting commitments and showing a strong work ethic • Excellent time management skills; Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong attention to detail • Ability to remain alert while performing routine, repetitive tasks • Passion for creativity and eye-appealing artistic ability • Continuous learning and improvement in your gift(s), including staying up-to-date on new techniques and technology
