Graphics Designer

Job Type : Full time Job Summary : The Graphic Artist will work under the guidance of the Art Department Manager and will be required to work in a fast-paced signage manufacturing facility and should be highly motivated and detail orientated. • Use design software Corel Draw along with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and manipulate graphics • Review designs for accuracy checking for spelling color and sizing errors • Work closely with the production team to ensure designs can be fabricated correctly and efficiently. • Prioritize each day efficiently complete sketch request revisions and work order file set up • Stay current on design trends materials fabrication methods and regulations including ADA compliance • Learn and have an understanding of the printing and fabrications process involved in sign production • Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently and simultaneously • Maintain effective team relationships with all support departments to communicate and coordinate effectively • Address any issues that arise during the production process • Follows all company policies and procedures • High school diploma or GED required; advance education degree preferred • Proficient in Adobe Suite and Corel Draw with basic understanding of Gerber Composer Omega • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; Able to work well under pressure to output high volume high quality work • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities • Previous experience in sign industry a plus • Positive attitude
