A Bachelor's Degree in Graphics Design or a related area may substitute for 4 years of the required work experience.The Work You Will Do: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:Design and produce professional quality artwork that adheres to the OAG requirement and is appropriate for various publications and events.Types of artworks produced may include freehand and computer-generated illustrations (e.g. drawings, logos, icons, etc. Update information contained on websites and check the links on sites regularly to ensure they are working, and that the information provided is current.Track project schedules, maintain control over quality and work produced, and ensure the customer and management are satisfied with the final work product.Review all requests for printing and composition and make recommendations on the most economical and efficient method to get the desired results; work with multiple printing vendors to obtain bids/estimates for print jobs and ensure that Department's wishes are properly understood and met by printers.Conduct research, as needed, for the purchase of new software, hardware, and other materials necessary for graphics office operations.
