General Characteristics The ideal candidate is imaginative, adaptable, and able to balance creativity with practicality. • Create and develop graphics and assets for Leadership, Marketing, and Operations, as requested • Create project layouts for potential issues or challenges for production • Create visuals for client review • Create mechanical PDFs for client review and approval for production • Review project layouts for production • Adjust layouts and images for print production • Prepare prepress files according to established and evolving standards • Create and develop 2D, as well as 3D graphic artwork for direct-to-object printing of 3D objects, establishing Best Practices for file creation and setup for LSINC • Learn technical aspects of LSINC Printing machines and develop innovative solutions for expanding capabilities • Manage client deadlines and expectations • Collaborate and consult with creative teams and clients • Maintain image and file libraries • Test machine for quality, capability, and standards via file manipulation • Establish art standards for production, based on productivity, quality, and client expectations • Collaborate with marketing in creation of messaging, visuals and strategy for print and web • Collaborate with leadership in brand creation, management, and messaging • Proofreading materials, as necessary • Image editing Skills and qualifications: • Strong attention to detail • Understanding of digital file types, handling, and use for specific outcomes in print production • Understanding and ability to communicate technical and mechanical information • Ability to self-teach is a necessity • Excellent Communication skills, both Verbal and Written • Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac and PC environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, or similar field of study. Will consider additional years experience in lieu of a 4-year degree • Minimum of 2 years of relevant job experience in digital pre-press or similar high-detail graphics role
