Graphics & Multimedia Intern

We are an issue-based organization that works in a bipartisan manner to advance public education. This position is responsible for assisting, creating, and executing graphic solutions for the multimedia needs of CCEA and will assist in the development, monitoring and guiding of the visual tone, quality, and consistency of CCEA materials and visual communication. Job Responsibilities • Create graphics and infographics for social media platforms • Develop visually appealing content including flyers, report templates, marketing materials • Implement CCEA branding across internal and external communications • Assist in the day-to-day communications realm at the organization • Propose and create layout graphic elements for newsletters • Review trends in all disciplines of graphics to apply consistently to work products • Assist with sourcing, editing, and enhancing appropriate photos • Coordinate with all CCEA team members in creating materials • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to improve and promote quality of work products • Attend CCEA meetings and member events Benefits • Get paid $25.00 per hour • Work part-time for 20 hours per week • Receive mentorship and direct feedback • Obtain a letter of recommendation upon completion • Learn about union organizing and education policies • Gain professional work experience • Create a portfolio with marketing materials from the job Applicants must have work authorization in the U.S. • Priority will be given to those who apply by May 1st.
