Graphics Pre-Press Technician

Core Tasks / Important Responsibilities: The Graphics Technician position prepares, graphic preflight and produces digital files using desktop publishing tools to setup, verify and proof customer provided art files for final production on large format digital printers. Adobe After Effects knowledge preferable to support new product lines. Education/Experience: • Mandatory experience (two years) using current Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Acrobat) • High School Graduate; prefer two (2) years college or service bureau/print shop experience • Understanding and demonstrated experience working with color models (CMYK, RGB, Etc.) • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office, Email, QuickBooks, & FTP • Knowledge of printing terminology and practices, including layout, imposition, file conversion, color matching and color correction • Experience with printing using large format printers • Must have proven competence on hardware/software problem solving and resolution Special Considerations: • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment • Detail oriented and and able to concentrate amid distractions • Self-motivated with ability to work independently • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task • To apply, please reply to with a resume • Company paid medical; 401-K program and paid time-off after 90 days.
