Will design and format print and electronic media using desktop publishing, graphics and other software applications (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat) and will provide manual graphics and typesetting services. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree or sixty credit hours in Printing Technology, Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or other relevant field, and five years of experience in commercial printing and reprographics required or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The successful candidate will possess a thorough working knowledge of digital copiers and printing equipment; personal computers, desktop publishing, graphic design, image editing and other applications software; computerized typography and typesetting techniques; digital imaging, printing, duplicating, and finishing equipment. Must be knowledgeable in the principles and practices of graphic design and layout. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients from all levels and departments of the County.
