Job Title: Graphic Designer Job Location: San Francisco, CA Job Duration: 6 Month on w2 Project Overview Client is seeking a Senior Freelance Graphic Designer who excels at innovative, out-of-the-box thinking with comprehensive experience across all elements of graphic design for fashion retail. This senior designer will be working with the in-house creative team and possibly collaborating with external freelance creative talent. Key Project Requirements • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in fashion retail graphic design across multiple channels (in-store, digital, social, print, packaging) • Exceptional portfolio showcasing innovative, boundary-pushing design work across various retail touchpoints • Advanced technical skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) • Strategic thinking and ability to translate business objectives into compelling visual solutions • Experience leading design projects across multiple channels • Ability to work within brand guidelines while bringing fresh perspectives and elevating the brand • Proven experience managing multiple high-priority projects with tight deadlines • Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate design concepts to stakeholders at all levels Project Success Metrics • Development and delivery of fresh, innovative graphic concepts across all retail touchpoints • Strategic alignment with Client business goals and brand identity • Effective leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams • Consistent delivery of high-quality work that meets all project deadlines and quality standards Portfolio Review Focus When reviewing portfolios, we're particularly interested in: • Sophisticated examples of fashion retail graphic design across multiple channels (in-store signage, digital assets, social media, print collateral, packaging) • Evidence of strategic, innovative thinking and unique approaches • Demonstrated understanding of how graphics function across various retail contexts with examples of successful implementation • Examples showing range, versatility, and evolution in design styles • Strong portfolio with elevated fashion work, as well as fashion lifestyle work Additional Senior-Level Qualifications • Strategic thinking and ability to see beyond immediate design needs • Deep understanding of fashion retail and how design influences customer behavior across touchpoints • Ability to identify efficiencies in the design process • Track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional partners (merchandising, marketing, store operations) • Knowledge of current design trends in fashion retail and ability to apply them appropriately
