Overview We're looking for a creative Graphic Designer, specializing in visual storytelling information design who brings clarity to complexity. Responsibilities • Collaborates with subject matter experts to distill complex data into clear visual diagrams and narratives across print, web and presentations • Develops and maintains visual systems • Collaborates with content creators, analysts, and design leads to shape communication strategy through data • Contributes to general graphic design needs: layouts, presentations, branding materials, and social content • Designs a variety of marketing projects including print, digital, web, signage and graphic packages for internal and external use in collaboration with team • May assist in developing concepts for marketing projects • Ensures that all creative deliverables uphold expected quality standards • Estimates timelines and meets deadlines on assigned projects • Manages and maintains digital and graphic files, including photos, logos and art in standard formats and filing structure; distributing as requested • Works collaboratively with Marketing Communications team • Contributes to a team environment that promotes continual creative improvement and a culture of innovation and accountability • Assists in the development of creative ideas for marketing and team initiatives • Stays current on trends and developments in digital and print design Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Advertising or related degree • Typically with 5+ years of experience in data visualization, information design, or graphic design • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator or InDesign • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred • Experience in motion graphics, interactive design, marketing and branding, website development preferred • Knowledge of and interest in architecture / interior design preferred • Excellent writing skills with experience in graphically designed page layouts • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to excellence • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers; ability to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team • Strong portfolio showcasing infographics, visual storytelling, illustration and layout design • Strong presentation skills • Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate, manage, prioritize, and perform on multiple projects at the same time • Ability to simplify and synthesize complex content into clear visual forms • Ability to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing • Ability to proactively problem solve and apply innovative solutions • Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment, and ability to work independently and prioritize work • Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality
