To apply for a position at ABRAMS, please complete the employment application by clicking the following link, http://www.abramsbooks.com/apply Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for day-to-day administrative support of the HR dept • Provide general recruiting Admin Support • Cross Post ads for all open jobs • Coordinate all job req paperwork to ensure all appropriate sign off • Schedule interviews • Primary point of contact for candidate status updates • Perform background/reference checks • Prepare new hire paperwork • Coordinate new hire setup with IT, prepare new hires for their first day • Process all new hires and termination paperwork in ADP • Prepare payroll updates/benefit changes for each payroll cycle • Prepare all invoices for submittal to A/P (Benefits, legal, Agency) • Maintain accurate and complete employee files • Maintain up to date HR info on the iNet • Update org charts and refresh iNet data • Process all open enrollment changes • First line HR contact for all employee inquiries • Process Employment verification inquiries • Manage HR Weekly comms email • Coordinate and schedule HR focused events/Seminars • Provide general benefits admin • Manage Leave Calendar • Enroll new hires in appropriate plans (med, dental, vision, 401k, BRI, EAP) • Ensure integrity and accuracy of data across all benefit platforms and payroll system • Prepare and distribute reporting (timekeeping, OT, dept listings, ad-hoc) as needed • Off-boarding of hires (notifications to all parties, manage equipment return, schedule exit interviews) • LinkedIn Learning Administration Experience Required: • 2 – 4 years Direct Human Resources experience or as an administrative assistant in an HR department Knowledge/Skills: • General understanding of Human Resources principles • Basic HRMS knowledge, experience with ADP is a plus • Excellent writing and communication skills • Detail oriented, able to work on several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • MS Office Suite
