Under the supervision of a more senior Designer or Project Manager, the Intermediate Designer provides design support in all phases of the project process; concept and design development, construction documents and construction administration.Specific responsibilities will include:Design and develop project presentationsCreation of 2D plan and elevation views for presentationsCreation of 3D renders for presentationsConceptual image researchContent creationCreation of high-resolution production-ready filesQuality assurance and site visitsCollecting information for client assessment; may attend interviews; provide documentation supportREQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Graphics, Industrial Design or Interior Design, or equivalent experience2-3 years’ experience with 3D/2D graphics, signage, digital printingREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESIntermediate knowledge of the commercial interior architecture and/or design industryKnowledge of graphic working drawings and proceduresDemonstrated competency in all phases of environmental graphicsAbility to coordinate custom solutions with fabricator and installerIntermediate understanding of branding concepts and the potential for their application to, relationship with and integration into the built environmentIntermediate sketching and rendering skillsIntermediate skilled visual sense and understanding of typography, composition, multiple media platforms, legibility, standards development, documentation, fabrication and implementationIntermediate MS Office and Adobe PDF application skillsSound Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign skillsKnowledge of video editing, interactive design, industrial design and 3D design/visualization and softwares (Autodesk 3dsmax, Vray) will be a plus.Intermediate verbal, graphic and written communication skills.Please submit a portfolio or work examples with your application.
