Job Summary: \\- Reports to Executive Director \\- Works with Marketing Coordinator to implement, maintain, and expand the Arts Consortium’s marketing and branding efforts \\- Will receive and organize content for publications \\- Will make contact with content contributors/vendors to verify print specs as needed \\- Will create graphic materials with the intent to share final produc¬ts through printed and digital means (email and social media) \\- May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers \\- May make recommendation on Arts Consortium marketing practices and technology \\- Other duties may be assigned FULL JOB DESCRIPTION: Qualifications: • Requires working knowledge of graphic-design software • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and analytical skills, basic quantitative skills • Ability to effectively present information • Must have a solid grasp of fundamental concepts of print and web publishing and graphic design principles • Intermediate skills with web design • Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word • Familiarity with MS Excel • Familiarity with Canva.com • Basic project management, editing and writing skills required Responsibility Details: • May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers • Recommends project deadlines • Annual Watermark Magazine (64 pages – Arts Consortium annual highlights) • Monthly First Friday – 2 tabloid size posters • Annual South Valley Artists’ Studio Tour – “Passport” up to 64 page artist catalog • Annual Taste The Arts – Event signage (stage lineup, event schedule, event map) • MVMC Art Session marketing pamphlet maintenance • NSSB marketing pamphlet maintenance • New branding assets as needed • Infographics • Calls to artists • Requests for proposal • Fundraising materials • Promotional materials for Arts Consortium and My Voice Media Center events • Produces graphic design materials to support marketing effort using technology and computer software packages for either print or web. • May provide estimates on all print and web marketing material. Ability to effectively present information. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Intermediate skills with web design.
