Prepares course content for delivery within the learning management systems (Blackboard Learn). Job Requirements: Must be exceptionally detail-oriented, with strong reading comprehension, critical thinking, writing, problem solving and communication skills. Must work well with supervisor and coworkers in a collaborative environment, and must be self-motivated and responsible. Candidates must have the ability to learn new technologies and technical skills such as very basic HTML coding and editing content within a learning management system (Blackboard Learn). Transcriptionist: A Technical Assistant II: Transcriptionist - works with the Production and Media Teams to create documents as accessible text alternative for audio-based multimedia used in online course spaces for the purposes of compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act-which provides web-based technology and multimedia standards to ensure people with disabilities can have equal access to website and multimedia content (Audio, Video, etc.)
