Work ArrangementOn-Site at Fort Liberty, NC with CONUS and OCONUS TDYs up to 120 days. They will operate standard computer hardware and software to prepare, revise, print, and store text, illustrations, graphs, and charts and assist with basic illustrations and detail from models, sketches, memory, written or oral instructions, and imagination.Select font type, draw lettering, layout materials, and perform duties. They will determine the style, technique, and medium best suited to produce the preferred effects and conform to reproduction requirements.Listen and work with analysts to make recommendations that assist illustrating key themes in graphical format. They will quickly grasp complex topics, identify main themes, and while using imagination, deliver high-quality content for the intended audience in text and pictures.Analyze information and determine the clearest and most logical way to graphically communicate information for greatest comprehension and will generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions while meeting with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.Perform other duties as required.Standard Essential FunctionsRegular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.Embodies AEVEX’s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.Qualifications and CompetenciesUnderstanding of intelligence concepts to interpret data effectively and design graphics aligned with mission goals.Ability to learn and apply new design tools, techniques, and technologies.Knowledge of geospatial or data visualization tools like ArcGIS or Tableau.Knowledge of the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Education / CertificationsBachelor’s degree or minimum four (4) years of experience working in a professional environment in lieu of a degree.DOD, DoS, DHS, or equivalent training/course completion preferred.ExperienceIn-depth knowledge of SOF and or CT intelligence experience is highly desirable.Experience in data visualization and a DoD environment.Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with graphic design and layout.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
