Interactive Graphic Designer

As our digital designer, you’ll collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of back- and front-end developers, copywriters, marketing strategists, and project managers to design and develop on-brand, user-focused solutions for a wide range of platforms and uses, including websites and landing pages, logo/brand design, print and digital marketing/advertising, social media channels, marketing collateral, and animation/motion graphics/video. In addition to design skills you also demonstrate profound empathy and an understanding of human behavior in web interactions, enabling an analytical approach to UX, ensuring designs resonate with users, and driving high conversions for our clients. Specific responsibilities include: • Taking ideas from concept through execution, working collaboratively with the team but owning the design work and deliverables • Assisting with maintenance, modernization, and optimization of client websites • Ensuring brand/style/content consistency across multiple platforms for each client • Providing internal support on initial project strategies, proposal development, traffic coordination • Keeping up-to-date with the latest web design and technology trends • Managing multiple tasks and project deadlines at a time Requirements • Minimum 3+ years’ graphic design experience—agency experience preferred, web design experience a must • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier) • Experience with wireframing/prototyping tools; knowledge of Figma a plus • Strong conceptual skills and a high sense of design, layout, and typography for print and digital solutions • Familiarity with Wordpress and an understanding of how to design for it; specific experience with Wordpress and Gutenberg blocks a plus • Solid knowledge of adaptive and responsive design • Understanding of key website conversion tactics, UX best practices, and SEO optimization principles, and experience with related tools • Knowledge of and passion for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) • Experience with QA processes and collaborating with developers to ensure design implementations meet quality standards • Ability to present designs internally and externally, accept feedback from colleagues and clients, and revise designs accordingly • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS best practices desired but not required To Apply: • Please submit your résumé, a link to your online portfolio and/or a PDF of supplemental work samples, and a cover letter explaining what you bring to a(m) and why you’ll be a good fit with our team.
