Junior Brand Designer

Summary

The Ginger People are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Brand Designer who is an all-rounder with a strong understanding of visual brand assets. The Junior Brand Designer will work closely with the Creative Director to help bring The Ginger People’s brand ideas to life. As a member of the marketing team, you’ll collaborate closely with all our internal departments – Retail Sales, eCommerce, Operations, and Quality Assurance, to bring design solutions to life that resonate with our target audiences.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the following as well as other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Design Execution: Producing digital and prints assets, including social media graphics, flyers, posters, and web bannersBrand Maintenance: Ensuring all designs adhere strictly to The Ginger People guidelinesSupport & Collaboration: Assisting the Creative Director with production tasksOffering input to creative meetings and sharing ideasPrepare and package final design files for production or handoffStay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practicesHelp create internal materials such as decks, one-pagers, and documentationSupport photoshoots, content creation, or asset sourcing when neededNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all inclusive. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesignProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, ExcelWorking knowledge of WordPress Websites, experience with CSS a plusThe ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environmentEducation and/or Experience

Degree or educational background in Graphic DesignMinimum 0-2 years of experienceProven ability to learn quickly in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, effectively managing uncertainty and adapting to changing priorities while being solution orientedExhibits a results-driven mentality with a focus on achieving goals and objectives through proactive problem-solving, strategic thinking and effective decision-makingUnderstanding of layout, typography, color theory, and compositionAbility to take feedback and iterate quicklyOther Skills, Abilities, Knowledge Required

Strong attention to detail.ProficiencyOrganizational Skills/Time Management.Ability to work in a fast paced environment.Experience with maintaining brand consistencyPay: $31.25 - $33.65 per hour
