Our practice is primarily focused on single family residential work, with a modern / minimalist aesthetic, inflected with a nod to the original character of the home. We are currently seeking a motivated designer with 3+ years of architecture drafting experience and excellent computer and graphic design skills to join our team in Berkeley. Candidates should possess the following skills: * Self-starter * Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent design degree * Ability to multitask * Excellent organizational capabilities * Professional communication skills (written and spoken) * Ability to take direction and learn quickly * Experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop and InDesign) a must * SketchUp experience * Past internship experience at an Architecture Firm is a plus Candidate responsibilities include: * Development of 3D Renderings * Presentation preparation and organization * Development and coordination of construction details * Assisting in color and materials board preparations * Work under the collaborative direction of Senior Designer to develop design concepts that respond to Client objectives * Development and preparation of Construction Documents Ability to work both in the office and remotely.
