Reports To: Creative Services Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt The Junior Graphic Designer supports the First Tactical Creative Services team by assisting in the development of visual assets across print and digital channels. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Support the Creative Services Manager and senior designers in executing day-to-day design needs • Assist in creating marketing and sales materials including presentations, brochures, flyers, signage, and digital assets • Adapt existing design templates and assets to meet specific sales, retail, or promotional needs • Help maintain brand consistency across all visual materials by following established brand guidelines • Create production-ready files for print and digital use under guidance and review • Assist with point-of-sale (POS) materials, in-store signage, and basic packaging layouts • Support catalog updates by assisting with layout revisions, image placement, and content updates • Prepare and update digital assets for email campaigns, social media, and web use • Make revisions based on feedback from internal stakeholders and the creative team • Organize and maintain design files, ensuring proper versioning and file structure • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure design deliverables meet timelines and project requirements • Assist with vendor and printer file prep as needed • Perform other duties as assigned Experience / Education • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) • 2+ years of professional graphic design experience (internships or freelance experience acceptable) • A portfolio demonstrating foundational design skills, including layout, typography, and digital/print work • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) • Basic understanding of typography, color theory, and design principles • Willingness to learn and accept feedback in a collaborative environment • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with guidance and direction • Strong attention to detail and organization skills • Interest in apparel, outdoor, tactical, or lifestyle brands is a plus but not required
