Junior Graphic Designer

A well-established retail organization is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to support the development and production of visual assets across digital marketing and e-commerce channels. This entry-level position will assist with designing, resizing, updating, and preparing creative content for website, email, social media, digital advertising, and promotional campaigns.The ideal candidate has a strong design foundation, proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career designer to build a portfolio and gain hands-on experience within a large retail organization. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and produce digital creative assets for websites, email campaigns, social media, digital advertisements, and promotional initiatives.Adapt established creative concepts into multiple sizes, formats, and channel-specific versions.Resize, crop, retouch, and prepare product and lifestyle imagery for digital use.Update existing templates with new promotional messaging, product information, imagery, and campaign details.Follow established brand guidelines to maintain visual consistency across all materials.Review creative assets for accuracy, including copy, pricing, dates, imagery, sizing, and formatting.Prepare production-ready files and ensure assets meet technical specifications.Organize and maintain digital files, templates, and creative assets.Manage multiple projects while meeting campaign deadlines and production expectations.Incorporate feedback and make revisions promptly.Partner with senior designers, copywriters, marketers, merchants, and e-commerce teams to complete assignments.Participate in creative reviews and contribute ideas for improving visual content.Perform quality-control checks before assets are released or published.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.Internship, academic, freelance, or up to two years of professional graphic design experience.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.Strong understanding of typography, color, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy.Experience designing for digital channels such as websites, email, social media, or digital advertising.Ability to resize and adapt creative assets accurately across multiple formats.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable following established brand standards and creative direction.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, HTML, content management systems, or digital asset management platforms is a plus.Retail, fashion, e-commerce, or consumer-brand experience is helpful but not required.Candidates should be prepared to provide a portfolio or relevant design samples.
