Junior Graphic Designer

This role take direction, guidance, and is under the supervision of Graphic... Responsibilities: • Execute creative tasks and projects using pre-existing templates and/or preliminary versions of design using knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design • Assist in bringing design concepts to completion which includes various version for applied channel of marketing - such as print, signage, newsletters, digital platforms to name a few - with finished copy and art • Collaborate with Art Director(s)/Sr. • Design basic layouts of art and copy arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts based on branded guidelines • Fill design templates for mailings, ads, newsletters, collateral materials and more to meet campaign and/or account goals and objectives • Obtain approval of concepts by submitting rough layouts to Graphic Designer(s), Sr. Graphic Designer(s), and/or Art Director(s) for review, direction, input, and guidance • Make suggested changes from Art Director(s)/Sr. Graphic Designer(s)/Graphic Designer(s), and prepare final pieces for production • Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts in preparation for Production Team delivery • Submiot finsihed pieces to Art Director(s)/Sr. Education & Experience Requirements: • Associate's degree (A.A.) or two (2) years related graphic design experience and/or academy training, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience or education working in print graphic design and/or newsprint industry is preferred • Must have a strong understanding of the print production process to design and prepare files that print, fold, trim, and bind correctly • This position requires a strong working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud, and the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel and Outlook • Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must
