Junior Graphic Designer

Insight Editions is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer or Production Designer to join our award-winning and globally recognized design team. In this role, you will support the senior design team on a wide variety of projects at various stages of the design and production process and you'll get to work on some of the most exciting global brands including Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney, Minecraft... Pokemon, Marvel and more. This is a full-time role and will report to the art director of Insight's entertainment division. Responsibilities • Implementing corrections to cover and interior files • Preparing files for production • Creating mock cover and interiors designs for sales presentations • Creating interior block outs according to a design template • Asset organization and conversion • Creating mood boards • Converting hardcover designs to paperback • Creating design materials for proprietary editions • Creating slipcases for bind-ups • Strong attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a deadline driven environment • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of print formats and the printing processes is a plus
