Junior Graphic Designer

Black Drum LLC is looking for a graphic designer to work full-time from our office in Charleston, SC. The graphic designer will create content for our www.alaskankingcrab.com and www.markethouse.com direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce brands, with a primary focus on email design, and will work closely with team members on a range of ambitious projects. • Assist in the creative direction of photoshoots, creating Pinterest boards and shot lists • Maintain brand consistency and design standards • Understand marketing learnings and feedback to optimize designs and turn around edits quickly Qualifications • A professional designer with 1-to-2 years of design experience • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently and within a team environment • A resourceful, highly organized, and creative problem solver • A strong conceptual thinker who can think across multiple platforms of communication • Well-versed in graphic design, layout and typography • Familiar with current design trends and best practices for both print and digital work • Excellent attention to detail • Meticulous about keeping your work files organized • Able to handle multiple projects and know where to prioritize • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite • Experienced with cross-functional and remote teams Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Klaviyo or other email marketing platform • Previous experience in eCommerce or at a startup
