Junior Graphic Designer

The Junior Graphic Designer, Brand & Packaging will play a key role in designing engaging and on-brand visual packaging & digital solutions for GNC’s private portfolio of globally owned brands and products. Packaging Design: • Assist in the creation and execution of product packaging designs for GNC’s private portfolio of globally owned brands and products, ensuring consistency with visual guidelines and regulatory requirements • Assist in packaging updates and refinements • Work closely with the packaging production team to prep files and to work closely with vendors to ensure high-quality print output • Conduct research on packaging trends and competitor designs to help drive innovation • Assist in maintaining and updating visual packaging assets and style guides to ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear • Sedentary work. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include long periods of computer screen usage, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus • The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • 1-3 years of graphic design experience, preferably in packaging and brand design • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) • Basic knowledge of packaging production processes and printing techniques is a plus • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines • A creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for branding and packaging • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with different teams
